The weather is usually very nice at this time, and the cultural life of the country is flourishing, so you may see a lot of popular tourist attractions, buying a few-days tour. Moreover, prices in spring on any kinds of entertainment are usually much lower than in summer. Still, the majority of tourists visit Bulgarian resorts in summer as they find it more interesting to swim in the sea and sunbathe rather than going on educational excursions. As it was mentioned above, June usually offers rainy mood, that’s why if you want to go on sunny holidays, postpone your trip till July. From early July to late September it is better to visit Bulgarian resorts: the sea is usually warm in this season, the weather is sunny, and the temperature picks u to +23…+30°С.

Speaking about regions, it’s possible to highlight that the shore of the Black sea is the warmest area, and the hottest resort in Bulgaria is considered to be Sandanski resort. The coldest place in Bulgaria is the city Smolyan which is situated in mountains. If you want to visit the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia – be sure that the climate of this city is very mild and pleasant. From July to August the temperature is usually about +28°С, from December to February – about +3 °С.

Unfortunately, in the middle of October the weather becomes cold and the resorts stop inviting tourists, so till December it is possible to go only on cultural excursions. In December a new touristic season starts, and if you want to see  snowy Bulgaria, then you should come in winter and visit mountain resorts. You’ll definitely like doing active sports on famous winter resorts, such as Bansko, Pamporovo and Borovets and, probably, celebrate New Year right here. Winters are not too cold in Bulgaria, and there is often sunny weather, so visiting ski resorts will deffinitely become a true pleasure.
